Locality:USA. Alabama. Cherokee: 4 mi NW of Cedar Bluff. Off of Co. Rd 104 about 5 miles W of AL Hwy 68. N side of Dirtseller Mountain. 34° 15' 38" N, 85° 38' 43" W
Description:Population of 12-15 individuals. Land owner is a gardner and though he was not gardening where the plant occurred, he may have accidentally introduced propagules through nursery purchases and the dumping of old potting soil. 
Habitat:Growing in the margin of fairly rich woods in among Podophyllum.
