Description:Growing in a small prairie patch (ca 1 acre), on top of a small cuesta surrounded by a large Juniperus virginiana stand. Rolling upland calcareous prairies. Associated with, Chrysanthemum leucanthemum, Penstemon australis, and Verbena rigida.
