Locality: | USA. Alabama. Lowndes: Ca. 2.0 miles southeast of Letohatchee on AL. Hwy. 97; along AL. Hwy. 97, ca. 0.8 miles south from the Letohatchee exit (Exit151) of I-65; west side of road. |
Description: | With several associated species including: Diospyros virginiana, Maclura pomifera, Berchemia scandens, Celtis laevigata, Desmodium sp. Verbesina virginica, and Cornus foemina. Many of the trees were draped with Tillandsia usneoides. |
Habitat: | Growing along roadside ROW in rich Black Belt soils. |
