Locality:USA. Alabama. Choctaw: Along west bank of Tombigbee River and adjacent inlet at service site about 1 mi. upstream from Coffeeville Reservoir. Near boat ramp.
Description:Plants 3 ft. tall. Flowers violet. 
Habitat:Emergent in shallow water. With Spirodela polyrhiza, Lemna minor, Sagittaria latifolia, Alternanthera philoxeroides, Potamogeton pusillus, Ceratophyllum demersum.
